Contract management software built for how in-house legal actually works.

ENSPACE manages the full contract lifecycle in one system your legal team configures itself: request, draft, negotiate, approve, sign and renew, with AI support at the steps that used to take the longest.

For in-house legal teams of roughly 3 to 30 lawyers.

One system, from the first request to the renewal date

Every stage below runs inside ENSPACE, with a full audit trail carried from the original request through to renewal, instead of stopping at signature and leaving the rest to spreadsheets.

01

Request

Business teams submit contract requests through a structured intake form instead of an email to legal.

02

Draft

Contracts generate from approved templates and clause libraries, so drafting starts from your standard terms.

03

Negotiate

Redline directly inside Word. AI compares versions and flags language that falls outside your playbook.

04

Approve

Configurable approval chains route by contract value, type or risk tier, with no fixed workflow to work around.

05

Sign

Send for signature through DocuSign, Adobe Sign or another connected provider, without leaving ENSPACE.

06

Track and renew

Executed contracts stay searchable, with obligation tracking and renewal alerts before a deadline is missed.

One front door for everything the business asks legal

Sales, HR, Finance and Procurement submit through a form. The request lands classified, with an owner and a clock already running.

  • A form per contract type, capturing what legal needs to start drafting.
  • Triage by type, value and team, routed to whoever owns that work.
  • An SLA per category, flagged before it turns into a delay.
  • Occasional requesters never become paid platform users.

Names and figures are illustrative.

Template names and dates are illustrative.

Your standard terms stop living in someone's folder

Templates, generated documents, versions and the executed file sit on the contract record itself, under the permissions of the team that owns them.

  • Templates with variables and conditional blocks. The draft comes out of the record, not out of the last contract someone copied.
  • Version comparison that flags what changed between one round and the next.
  • A searchable repository with permissions by role, area and group.
  • Term, renewal window and notice period tracked on the record.

The redline comes back against your playbook, inside Word

The agent opens in the document the lawyer is already in, marks the redline as tracked changes and names the position it is defending. Accept or reject, clause by clause.

  • Your playbook and its fallback positions travel into the document.
  • Every edit lands as a tracked change, with the reason beside it.
  • Out-of-standard clauses come back ranked by severity.
  • Rewrite more formally, summarize the changes, review the selection only, apply a template.

The contract keeps moving while your team is off the clock

Requests and notifications that land after hours enter the flow your team designed and keep advancing without manual action. Your team sets the trigger, the condition, the approval threshold and the point where a person has to decide.

See it by flow

Three flows a contract operation runs every week, from the trigger to the point where the flow stops and waits for a person.

Spaceflows/New contract request

The standard that lives in one lawyer's head, applied to every contract

Your team configures the agent, the criteria it follows and the data it can reach. It resolves the operational step and hands the decision back to the person who owns it.

Three agents come ready to use and the rest are built around your operation. An agent reaches only what the person running it can reach, every action lands on the same audit trail as human actions, and AI usage runs on a monthly credit allowance, never an unlimited claim.

A CLM platform your legal team runs itself

Most contract management software locks the workflow to what the vendor shipped. ENSPACE is configured by the people who own the process.

Configuration owned by your team

Add an approval step, a new contract type or a field in a visual editor, the same day your process changes, not the next sprint.

Everything in one account

Requests, contracts, documents and vendor records sit in the same system, and opening a new front never triggers a module quote.

AI on the steps that took longest

The agent reviews an incoming contract against your playbook and flags what falls outside standard, in Word, where the lawyer already works.

Open by design

Keep the e-signature you already pay for. Native integrations with DocuSign and Adobe Sign, Outlook calendar and mailboxes, plus an open API for everything else.

What your security team asks for, already documented

IT and procurement usually open with these four. Send the questionnaire early and our team answers the rest in writing.

SOC 2 Type II and ISAE 3402

Security controls audited over a period, with the report available to your team under NDA.

SSO and SAML on the Enterprise plan

Enterprise authentication integrated with your identity provider, plus access by role, area and group.

An audit trail that answers for itself

Which step ran, which field changed, who approved and when. Version history sits on the record, not in someone's memory.

AI runs inside the same permissions

An agent reaches only what the person running it can reach, and every action it takes is logged like any other.

At Wellhub, the Legal Ops team builds its own workflows

What changes when requests, approvals and the history of decisions stop living in email and shared drives.

"Requests used to arrive by email. Records were spread across spreadsheets and a shared drive, with no single point of control for deadlines, approvals and the history of decisions. Being able to configure flows and fields ourselves is what surprised the team the most."

Contract cycle time

7 to 30 days to 1 to 5 days

Average across ENSPACE implementations, measured against the process each legal department had before the platform.

Built for in-house legal, not law firm practice management

ENSPACE is contract management and legal operations software for corporate legal departments: request intake, contract drafting, approvals and vendor tracking for teams running their own operation.

What we deliberately don't do: court docketing, deadline calculation from court rules, legal hold, e-discovery and e-billing in LEDES. Those stay with the specialists and with your firms. ENSPACE runs the layer above them.

What legal teams ask before they decide

The questions that come up once contract management is on the table and someone has to defend the choice internally.

Do we have to replace our e-signature tool?

No. Keep the DocuSign or Adobe Sign your company already pays for. ENSPACE runs the workflow around it: the request, the draft, the approval chain and the renewal window. The signature step is sent from inside ENSPACE through the provider you already use.

Is this for law firms?

No. ENSPACE is built for corporate legal departments. There is no billable-hour tracking, no client billing and no trust accounting, because the team we serve doesn't bill anyone. If you run an in-house team of roughly 3 to 30 lawyers, you are in the middle of it.

Do you track court dockets and deadlines?

No, and that is deliberate. Court docketing, deadline calculation from court rules, legal hold and e-discovery stay with the specialists and with your outside firms. ENSPACE runs the layer above them: what the business asks legal, what legal decides, and the record of both.

Who configures it, and how long does it take?

Your team does, with guidance from onboarding. Contract types, fields, forms, approval chains and dashboards are configured in a visual editor. The environment arrives with a template for legal, and go-live happens in weeks rather than months.

How does the Word plugin work?

The plugin opens the ENSPACE panel inside Word. The lawyer calls the review agent and the playbook, gets suggestions as tracked changes with the reason next to each clause, and accepts or rejects one by one. It also applies workspace templates without switching systems.

What happens when AI can't find something in the document?

The field comes back blank. Nothing is invented and no value is suggested in its place. The item waits in a pending queue instead of moving to an approver, and the missing field is logged with a timestamp. Everything else keeps moving.

What stays with the lawyer?

Risk judgment, the negotiating position and the signature. AI points at the clause outside standard, it doesn't approve and it doesn't negotiate. Approval stays with the authority level your team recorded in the flow.

How do you handle security review?

SOC 2 Type II and ISAE 3402 for audited controls, SSO and SAML on the Enterprise plan, access by role, area and group, an isolated workspace and a full audit trail. Send your security questionnaire early and our team answers it in writing.

Do occasional requesters need a paid seat?

No. Someone who submits a contract request now and then does it through a form, without becoming a platform user. The model combines seats and usage, which keeps the monthly cost tied to the people who actually work inside the system.

Do you charge per module?

No. Contracts, requests from the business, documents and templates, dashboards and automation all sit in the same account. When the operation opens a new front, there is no new module quote.
