Four fronts of the legal operation, in the same account

Contracts, the requests the business sends legal, the documents behind both, and the entity records they depend on.
One system, no module quote when the operation opens a new front.

01 · Contracts

The contract is on its fourth version over email, and the auto-renewal date passed on Tuesday.

  • Requests come in through a form, triaged by type and risk from the start.
  • NDAs, services agreements, amendments and terminations in one record set, without re-entering the same counterparty.
  • Review and approval by authority level, sent for signature through the DocuSign or Adobe Sign account you already have.
  • Version comparison that flags changed clauses, terms and penalties, plus expiration and renewal alerts before the date.

With AI: the agent drafts from the standard your team approved and flags clauses outside the playbook before approval. With the ENSPACE plugin for Word, the lawyer reviews the markup right in the document and decides what to accept or reject. The call stays with whoever signs.

Contract cycle: from 7 to 30 days to 1 to 5 days

The work keeps moving while your team is off the clock.

Requests, questions and notifications that land after hours enter the flow your team defined and keep advancing without manual action. When the team starts the day, operations are already in motion.

See it by team

Every front designs its own path. These are the three that run most, from the trigger to the point where the flow stops and waits for a person.

The judgment that used to live in one specialist's head now applies to every contract

Every front gets an agent with the history and context of your operation. It applies the team's playbook to every document that comes in, following the same criteria start to finish.

The redline comes back against your playbook, inside Word

The agent opens in the document the lawyer is already in, marks the redline as tracked changes and names the position it is defending. Accept or reject, clause by clause.

  • Your playbook and its fallback positions travel into the document.
  • Every edit lands as a tracked change, with the reason beside it.
  • Out-of-standard clauses come back ranked by severity.

At Wellhub, the Legal Ops team builds its own workflows

Legal Ops and legal leadership at Wellhub, Suzano, Amcor and Mercado Libre on what changed in turnaround and control.

"Requests used to arrive by email. Records were spread across spreadsheets and a shared drive, with no single point of control for deadlines, approvals and the history of decisions. Being able to configure flows and fields ourselves is what surprised the team the most."

BENI AI

Ask BENI for the number, then ask it to make the change

Find information without stepping out of the operation to go look for it.

BENI understands the context of the operation and finds information within the permissions of whoever is asking. When something needs to change, the agent shows what it will do and only runs after confirmation.

  • Switch agent or model mid-conversation and choose how to run each request.
  • Select a passage in the text field for BENI to continue, translate or summarize the content.
  • Query operational data in context, without hunting across different screens.
  • Make field-level changes through conversation, with confirmation before execution.

And when an off-the-shelf agent isn't enough?

Build agents tailored to your operation. You define what it does, what information it can reach and which rules it follows, so each front adapts the AI to what it actually needs.

See the agents in action

Available AI models: Alibaba, Anthropic, DeepSeek, Google, MiniMax, Moonshot AI, OpenAI and Z.ai.

Every number in the operation is defensible, including anything AI touched

BENI logs what was done, by whom and with what data. When someone needs to trace where a number came from or how a step ran, the history is in the platform itself.

Audit asks, the record answers

Which step ran, which field changed, which flow depended on it and when it happened. The answer is on the record itself.

Whoever questions a number sees where it came from

Every filled field shows the source of the data and the item the information came from.

An external party sees only what you released to it

The AI agent reaches only what the person running it can reach, so an outside firm or vendor sees only the data released to it.

SOC 2 Type II, ISAE 3402 and SSO with SAML

Audited security controls, enterprise authentication with your identity provider on the Enterprise plan, and access by role, area and group.

Operational work shouldn't take up the time of the people who need to decide.

Keep workflows running without depending on manual action at every step, and put your team's time where their judgment actually matters.

Start with the workflow that eats the most time today. Once it stops depending on someone being free to take the next step, you move to the next one.

What teams ask before they decide

The questions that come up once a team has decided to automate and wants to know exactly where control sits.

Is this for law firms?

No. ENSPACE is built for corporate legal departments. There is no billable-hour tracking, no client billing and no trust accounting, because the team we serve doesn't bill anyone. If you run an in-house team of roughly 3 to 30 lawyers, you are in the middle of it.

Do you track court dockets and deadlines?

No, and that is deliberate. Court docketing, deadline calculation from court rules, legal hold and e-discovery stay with the specialists and with your outside firms. ENSPACE runs the layer above them: what the business asks legal, what legal decides, and the record of both.

Do we have to replace our e-signature tool?

No. Keep the DocuSign or Adobe Sign your company already pays for. ENSPACE runs the workflow around it, and the signature step is sent from inside ENSPACE through the provider you already use.

What changes day to day when AI enters an ENSPACE workflow?

Your team designs the flow end to end and decides where AI comes in: drafting, resolving a step, routing an item or reading a document to fill in fields. Each piece runs where legal chose to put it, and the result arrives ready for review by whoever decides the question.

What happens when AI can't find a data point in the document?

The field comes back blank. No value is suggested and nothing that looks like data is written in its place. The item stops in a pending queue instead of going straight to an approver, and the missing field is logged with a timestamp. Everything else keeps moving.

How does ENSPACE work inside Word?

The plugin opens the ENSPACE environment inside Word itself. The team calls the agent and the review playbook, reviews clauses as tracked changes to accept or reject point by point, uses shortcuts like rewrite more formally, summarize changes, review selection only and suggest a title, and applies workspace templates without switching systems.

Can the specialized agents reach any data in the operation?

No. Each agent acts under the permissions of whoever runs it: what that person can't see, the agent won't return. Every agent action lands on the same trail as human actions, with author, timestamp and source.

What stays the lawyer's decision?

Risk judgment, the negotiating position and the signature stay with the lawyer. AI points at the clause outside standard, it doesn't approve and it doesn't negotiate. Approval stays with the authority level legal recorded in the flow. AI resolves the operational step; the person decides the question.

Does ENSPACE replace my ERP or finance system?

No. ENSPACE connects through API and centralizes the view of the legal operation. It doesn't take the place of your ERP, CRM or finance system: it pulls data from them into the flow and sends back what needs to go back, without replacing the specialized system.

How do the monthly AI credits work?

Each plan includes a monthly amount of BENI AI credits, and usage is visible to the team. There is no unlimited tier: the amount is sized with our team based on the volume of your operation and can be adjusted by changing plans, with no environment migration.

How does ENSPACE handle security and permissions?

SOC 2 Type II and ISAE 3402 for audited controls, SSO and SAML on the Enterprise plan, permissions by role, area and group, an isolated workspace and a fully auditable trail. Every action, human or AI, is logged with who, what and when. Send your security questionnaire early and our team answers it in writing.

Does the agent run with no one from the team attached to the execution?

Yes. An agent resolves the step with no one attached to it, so the flow can be triggered by an integration or on a schedule, overnight or at month-end close. The next step may require a person, such as a review or a signature, and the item waits there until someone responds.

Does ENSPACE charge per module?

No. Contracts, legal intake, documents and templates, entity records, dashboards and automation all come in the same account. When the operation opens a new front, there is no new module quote.

How long does it take to go live?

Go-live happens in weeks, not months. The environment arrives with a template for legal, and your own team configures flows, fields and rules with guidance from onboarding.

Do occasional requesters need a paid seat?

No. People who submit a request now and then interact through a form, without becoming platform users. The ENSPACE model combines seats and usage, which lowers the monthly cost for the company.
